1.Complete responsibility, starting from RFQ feasibility until PPAP/PSW sign off with customers and followed by that responsible for IPC period
parts supply to customers for the period of 90days as per QCDD norms and smooth hand over of the project with all required documents to the
regular production team.
2. RFQ technical feasibility study, (DFM review-Mould Flow Analysis etc...) Design BOM preparation, conceptual tooling layout proposal and
appropriate selection of manufacturing process followed by consolidated inputs submission to RFQ costing team for the quote preparation and
timely Quote submission as per SOP norms.
3. Complete verification of SOR given by customer and to evaluate over final technical feasibility considering all requirements for the
manufacturing process with optimum technical and cost input to finalize both tool price and part price to customer.
4. To conduct overall TLG/Tech review and DFM review with customer along with AOI agreement and SOR signoff with customer.
5. To drive and adhere APQP plan in co-ordination with Engineering PMG team L3 CFT members.
6. Make or Buy decision recommendation to the management and De risking plan/contingency plan preparation for every project
7. Preparation of overall Capex investment plan for each given project clearly mentioning customer funded and Besmak funded consideration
including development cost input to be given to costing team to prepare NPV/IRR statement for the business justification and get approval of
costing Head/L3 Head/L2 Head.
8. Completely responsible for all tool trials starting from T0 to T4(TF) including De-bugging, review and sign off with tooling vendors (CNH or
Vendors) for the tool correction process stage wise.
9. To support PMG for the preparation of WIMS study and finalize all process parameters control copies in coordination with PMG/ NPD QA and
Engineering production division head and handover to regular production team.
10. Responsible for the entire NPD engineering products which are in IPC period (90 days) technical performance confirmation and coordination
with PMG / Head of Engineering Production Division head and NPD QA.
11. Responsible for all value added and assembly process establishment and its required technical co-ordination mainly with MSE head and L3 CFT
members for other process where ever required.
12. To lead and prepare TGR/TGW report for each and every project and do analysis on same and find appropriate solutions in order to improve
overall NPD process maturity as desired. (jointly by NPD technical /CNH/PMG)
13. Responsible for overall technical capability evaluation (People /process/Technology) in line with our SBP and initiation of appropriate actions
including capex proposal and followed by timely procurement and implementation of same.
1. To support technically for RFQ business conversion minimum by 20% against all Quote submission.
2. Optimum use of resources based on the RFQ estimation as per budget approval given by management.
3. Responsible for overall APQP adherence in line with customer PPAP, PSW Sign off and followed by Internal PPAP signoff with norms reduction of
10% as compared to RFQ norms. Internal PPAP to be formally signed off in co-ordination with Engineering production division head and NPD QA
for all Engineering NPD parts. To review all engineering products which are in production with costing team /production team and Engineering
division head to check the profitability confirmation as per approved NPV-IRR document. (RFQ Vs Actual)
4. For all NPD projects ,In case if there is any need to go beyond T4 (TF) trials, there should be proper reasoning and justification followed by
mutual sign off with CNH or Tooling Vendors to be done and proposal to be given to VP Technical and Operations to get approval before taking
T5 trial.
5. Responsible for overall IPC process sign off for NPD engineering parts and its process in co-ordination with Head of Engineering production
division and NPD QA head. To ensure 0 customer complaint during IPC period.
6. Project progress review and periodical status update to be given to customer/Top management.
7. Timely escalation to reporting superiors wherever there is bottle neck area, which leads to delay in overall project progress.
8. To give complete resolution for all technical issues and technological requirements seeking support from superiors/ external agencies or
consultant time to time where ever it is required.
9. TGR/TGW to be prepared in every project and timely it has to be presented to Management.
