Job Description You will be joining one of Weekday's clients in the Healthcare Insurance (US Market) industry as the Head of Architecture with a minimum of 20 years of experience. Your role will involve providing strategic direction and hands-on leadership across Solution, Technical, Infrastructure/Cloud, Data, and Security Architecture domains to shape and govern the overall architecture strategy. You will need to ensure that solutions align with business priorities and US healthcare regulations. Your visionary leadership, technical depth, and team management skills will be crucial to inspire and manage high-performing teams. Key Responsibilities - Define and execute architecture strategies aligning with organizational objectives and regulatory requirements in the US healthcare ecosystem. - Lead, mentor, and grow a multidisciplinary team of architects fostering a culture of innovation, accountability, and continuous improvement. - Collaborate with Product Development, Testing, and Product Support teams to ensure successful delivery of technology solutions. - Establish and enforce architectural standards, patterns, and frameworks across the enterprise. - Provide comprehensive architectural guidance on complex initiatives ensuring business relevance and technical feasibility. - Design and implement scalable, reliable, and secure cloud-based infrastructure roadmaps. - Develop strategies for data governance, analytics, and security architecture, including robust threat modeling and risk mitigation practices. - Identify emerging technologies and architectural risks, drive adoption of innovative solutions, and ensure system resilience. Qualifications - Demonstrated success in leading architecture teams in dynamic, fast-paced environments. - Strong expertise in US healthcare insurance industry, including regulatory compliance. - Deep understanding of software architecture principles, frameworks, and industry best practices. - Advanced experience with AWS, Azure, or GCP, with hands-on knowledge of cloud-native design and optimization. - Proven track record in high-performance application design, infrastructure sizing, and tool adoption. - Excellent ability to manage stakeholders, influence decision-making, and drive cross-functional collaboration. - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field; advanced degree preferred. Preferred Skills & Experience - Familiarity with healthcare data standards such as HL7 and FHIR. - Strong background in data management, analytics, and governance. - Experience in security architecture and threat modeling.
