Medical Coder – AAPC Certified / CPC Trained

Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and certified Medical Coder to join our healthcare team. The role involves accurately assigning ICD-10-CM, CPT, and HCPCS codes to patient records for billing and insurance purposes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review and analyze patient medical records and documentation.
• Assign accurate medical codes based on diagnoses, procedures, and physician notes.
• Ensure coding accuracy and compliance with federal regulations and payer guidelines.
• Maintain patient confidentiality and data integrity.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers and billing teams to resolve coding queries.
• Stay updated with coding guidelines, policies, and payer updates.

Requirements:

• AAPC Certified Member or CPC Trained (other certifications like CCS, CCA also considered).
• Strong knowledge of ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and medical terminology.
• Detail-oriented with strong analytical skills.
• Familiarity with EHR/EMR systems and coding software.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• 1+ year of medical coding experience (freshers with certification may also apply).
• Knowledge of healthcare compliance, HIPAA, and payer policies.
• Experience in HCC is a plus.

Pay: ₹300,000.00 - ₹400,000.00 per year
