Role Overview: As an HCC Coder in Chennai, you will play a crucial role in accurately coding medical records while ensuring compliance with coding guidelines and standards. Your day-to-day responsibilities will include reviewing and analyzing medical records, assigning appropriate codes, and collaborating with healthcare providers to clarify documentation. Your role will also involve managing patient information and upholding confidentiality as per healthcare regulations. Key Responsibilities: - Review and analyze medical records for coding purposes - Assign appropriate diagnostic and procedural codes - Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify documentation - Manage patient information while maintaining confidentiality - Ensure compliance with relevant coding guidelines and standards Qualification Required: - Coding Experience and proficient Medical Coding skills - RHIT and Health Information Management qualifications - Knowledge of Medical Terminology - Attention to detail and strong analytical skills - Ability to work collaboratively in a healthcare setting - Proficiency in using coding software and electronic health records (EHR) systems - Certification in medical coding (CPC, CCS, etc.) is a plus - Prior experience in HCC coding is beneficial,
