Hardware Design Quality Lead

As a Test Engineer at Nosh, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the reliability, performance, and quality of our robotics products through comprehensive testing strategies. Your focus will be on functional and non-functional testing to guarantee that our products meet the specified design criteria and provide an exceptional end-user experience. **Key Responsibilities:** - Develop detailed test plans covering functional, performance, environmental, stress, and reliability testing aspects. - Create strategies to validate product functionality, assess risks, and ensure products meet design criteria. - Write test cases to cover all product features, including edge cases and stress scenarios. - Validate product functionality under various operating conditions for speed, accuracy, and responsiveness. - Test hardware-software integration to ensure seamless operation. - Ensure user-friendliness and ease of operation for the end user. - Conduct long-term use tests to verify product durability under typical wear and tear. - Perform environmental tests to ensure product functionality under extreme conditions. - Identify defects" root causes and recommend improvements in design or manufacturing processes. - Implement automated testing systems for hardware and software to enhance validation processes. - Prepare products for third-party testing to obtain industry certifications. - Conduct Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA) to evaluate potential failure modes. **Key Skills/Experience Required:** - Strong background in electronics and robotics testing methodologies. - 4+ years of experience with test automation tools, debugging, and quality standards. - Knowledge of product reliability and performance metrics. - Familiarity with industry-specific standards like ISO, CE, and UL. - Experience with Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (FMEA). - Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
