We&aposre seeking an individual to specialize in PCB design for our embedded hardware products. This role will involve collaboration with our mechanical, software, and production teams to create the end product.

Roles and Responsibilities

• Design & develop PCB layouts for automotive hardware products.
• PCB layer stack-up & material selection
• Should be able to create Schematic symbol & Design custom footprints
• Should be able to manage Schematic & PCB Library in proper format Should be able to debug any design & manufacturing issue in the PCB
• Electronic components selection and BoM optimization
• Create production documentation for manufacturing of PCBAs, including BoM, Gerber files, pick and place etc
• Analyze & resolve any design related issues and recommend improvements
• Work with cross functional product development teams in supporting product development
• Provide support to production and PCB manufacturing teams
• Should be able to devise test plan to ensure proper functionality of the designed product

Skills

• Strong knowledge in either of PCB Design tools e.g. Altium Designer, Cadence, allegro, PADS, others
• Knowledge PCB routing of Analog & Digital signal layout, Star grounding and power plane.
• Strong knowledge of component placement & Routing techniques .
• Strong knowledge of EMI/EMC Consideration, Signal/Power Integrity.
• Strong knowledge of IPC Standards as IPC-2221, IPC-2152, IPC-4761 with PCB DFM Analysis.
• Basic understanding of Signal Impedance matching & Reflection phenomena.
• Thorough knowledge of generating output job file & assembly file
• Experience working with import/export engineering drawings(DWG/DXF/STEP)
• Clear understanding of PCB layer stack up.
• Strong fundamental knowledge of Switching Devices like Mosfet & BJT electronics engineering
• Operational Knowledge of Buck & Boost Converter
• Knowledge of Electronic Components & it`s selection like LDO, TVS Diode, ESD Diode, Zener Diode, Ferrite Bead.
• Good knowledge of schematic design.
• Knowledge of MS Office suite
