Hardware Design Engineer

Experience in complete phases of hardware PDLC with knowledge in IEC60601-1, IEC60601-1-2 EMI/EMC stds

Should have deep knowledge of medical domain, standards and regulations

Solid experience with microcontroller and microprocessor based board designs, including memory and storage devices.

experience with SOM based board designs, including memory, storage devices and IOT modules.

Ability to design or modify electrical/electronic engineering assemblies, layouts/schematics (mentor graphics expedition preferred), BOM generation/scrubbing and detailed drawings/specifications of moderate scope under general supervision

Hands on experience in Designing, component selection and testing boards with Analog Circuit and High-Speed Digital systems with Microprocessors, Microcontrollers; Memory interfaces.

Circuit Analysis & board design R&D activities

Experience with various analysis like power, derating analysis, FMEA and reliability engineering for electronic hardware

Experience with EMI/EMC testing

Experience with high speed interfaces like USB, ethernet

Experience with ADC, audio/video controller and dc-dc converter based circuit boards

Ability to perform basic engineering analysis and troubleshoot a variety of moderately complex electrical problems

Experience with lab tools like DSO/MSO, bus analyzers, function generators and Safety testers for hardware development

Ability to work efficiently as a team member and deliver results and lead a team of minimum 5engrs.
