As a member of our team, you will be responsible for learning and assisting in accurately picking items based on order sheets or system-generated pick lists. You will use handheld scanners or warehouse management systems (WMS) to locate products efficiently, ensuring that correct quantities and product codes are picked to reduce errors. It is essential to maintain proper handling to prevent product damage during the picking process. In the packing area, you will assist in securely packing items for shipment using appropriate packaging materials. You will be responsible for ensuring that all packages are labeled correctly with shipping information and product details. Furthermore, you will need to check product quality and condition before packing and follow packaging standards to reduce returns or damage during transit. When it comes to bundling, you will learn how to bundle products according to order requirements or promotional packs. It will be your responsibility to ensure that bundled products are wrapped or packed uniformly for easy storage or shipping. Following bundling guidelines to maintain consistency and product integrity is crucial, and you must label bundled items clearly with correct identification or SKU codes. In addition to the specific functions mentioned above, you will also be expected to maintain cleanliness and organization in the picking and packing areas. It is important to follow all health, safety, and hygiene protocols to create a safe work environment. Any inventory issues, damages, or discrepancies noticed during picking/packing should be reported promptly. You will collaborate with team leads and supervisors to meet daily shipping targets and continuously learn and suggest improvements for speed and accuracy in picking, packing, and bundling processes. This is a full-time position with benefits such as food provided, leave encashment, and Provident Fund.
