Job Title: SAP Hana DBA Location: Bangalore, Chennai Job Description: Manage and maintain the organization's SAP HANA database environment, including installation, configuration, patching, and upgrades. Monitor and optimize database performance using various tuning techniques and tools. Troubleshoot and resolve database-related issues, including performance bottlenecks, data integrity issues, and system failures. Monitoring the health of the database servers and storage/memory utilization. Implement and manage database backup and recovery strategies, ensuring the availability and integrity of data. Experience with Disaster Recovery DB server setup, high availability, and backup mechanism. Experience in managing users and roles in SAP HANA system. HANA system administration using SAP HANA Cockpit and HANA Studio. Integration of SAP HANA into different remote systems. Exposure to different remote access options in HANA system. Implementing and Managing SAP HANA Table management techniques - data compression, table partition, compression techniques, load/unload table into memory and SAP Hana Life Cycle Management. Collaborate with SAP Basis administrators, developers, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of the SAP HANA database with other systems and applications. Implement and maintain database security best practices, including user access management, data encryption, and regular security audits. Assist with capacity planning and scalability assessments to support the organization's growth and performance requirements. Experience in Managing SAP Hana in Azure Cloud, Securing Hana System, Audit policy implementation, Data provisioning, SDA and SDI implementation. Experience in Oracle DB, SAP Sybase Database, MaxDB and IBM DB2 Database will be added advantage. Working knowledge Unix shell scripting is must. Unix Knowledge is must. Certification in HANA is required. Certification in ITIL/ Scrum is a plus. Open to work in shifts Experienced in 24x7 production environment support, should be ready to support on call and weekend activities on rotational basis. Should possess good communication and Interpersonal skills.
