Gymnastics Coach

As a Gymnastics Coach at our organization, you will be responsible for instructing students in gymnastics techniques, developing individualized training plans, monitoring student progress, ensuring safety protocols, and fostering a positive team environment. Your qualifications should include previous experience in sports coaching, a background in gymnastics or related disciplines, experience working with children or youth, strong behavior management skills, and the ability to create engaging lesson plans. Lifeguard certification is a plus, and excellent communication skills are essential for effective interaction with students, parents, and staff members. Your passion for promoting health and fitness through gymnastics will be key in inspiring the next generation of gymnasts in a fun and supportive environment. Responsibilities: - Instruct students in gymnastics techniques such as tumbling, balance beam, vaulting, and floor exercises - Develop individualized training plans for each student - Monitor and assess student progress, providing constructive feedback - Ensure safety by enforcing protocols and maintaining equipment - Organize and lead warm-up exercises and conditioning routines - Collaborate with other coaches to create engaging lesson plans - Foster a positive team environment that encourages teamwork and growth - Communicate effectively with students and parents regarding progress and goals Qualifications: - Previous experience in sports coaching or teaching preferred - Background in gymnastics or related disciplines highly desirable - Experience working with children or youth in a childcare or educational setting - Strong behavior management skills - Ability to create engaging lesson plans for physical education and fitness - Lifeguard certification is a plus - Excellent communication skills - Passion for promoting health and fitness through gymnastics This is a part-time position with an expected 24 hours per week.
