Role: Business Head Location: Chennai The Business Head Fitness Equipment will be responsible for leading the companys fitness equipment division, driving business growth, overseeing sales & marketing strategies, managing key client relationships, and ensuring operational excellence across manufacturing, distribution, and service functions. The role demands strong business acumen, deep knowledge of the fitness industry, and the ability to deliver sustainable revenue growth. Responsibilities 1. Develop and execute the business plan for the fitness equipment vertical 2. Drive annual sales, revenue and profitability targets. 3. Identify new markets and growth opportunities. 4. Build and lead a high-performing sales team. 5. Develop sales strategies for gyms, hotels, corporates, hospitals, apartments and retail customers. 6. Oversee marketing campaigns, product launches and brand positioning. 7. Liaise with the manufacturing teams for the product development and quality improvement. 8. Manage supply chain, inventory and vendor relationships. 9. Drive the team to ensure after-sales service quality and warranty management 10. Prepare annual budgets, forecasts and performance reports. 11. Monitor KPIs such as sales conversion, customer acquisition and service turnaround time. 12. Control operational costs and maximise margins. 13. Responsible for the profit and loss of the business. 14. Mentor, coach, and develop departmental managers. 15. Foster a performance-driven, customer-focused work culture. Required Candidate: Graduate or Post Graduate with 20 -25 years of experience with strong knowledge of fitness equipment products, trends, and competitive landscape. Proven experience in P&L management and business scaling. Excellent negotiation, networking, and relationship management skills. Strategic thinker with an execution-oriented mind set.
