Job Description: Guitar Teacher (Grade 3-5 Proficiency)
Summary:

Muzigal Academy, Puppalaguda is seeking an enthusiastic, skilled, and dedicated Guitar Teacher to join our faculty. The ideal candidate will be proficient up to a Grade 5 level (or equivalent) across various examination boards and committed to fostering a love for music in students of all ages and abilities. This role requires teaching, curriculum delivery, and active participation in the academy's community and marketing efforts.
Key Responsibilities
1. Instruction and Curriculum* Deliver engaging and structured individual and group guitar lessons to students, ranging from beginners to those preparing for Grade 5 examinations (e.g., ABRSM, Trinity, Rockschool, etc.).* Develop and implement lesson plans that cover practical skills (scales, sight-reading, performance pieces) and theoretical knowledge (harmony, music history, aural skills).* Assess student progress regularly, provide constructive feedback, and prepare students for official examinations and recitals.* Ensure all teaching materials and resources are current and accessible.2. Academy Operations* Maintain a consistent teaching schedule, working 6 hours daily, from 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM (Monday to Saturday).* Maintain accurate attendance records and student progress reports.* Communicate effectively with parents/guardians regarding student performance and academy updates.3. Marketing and Events* Actively participate in academy marketing and promotional events, including open houses, trial classes, and community outreach programs.* Perform at academy student recitals, faculty concerts, and school-organized performances to showcase the academy's quality.* Contribute to social media content (e.g., short instructional videos, performance clips) to help promote the guitar program.Required Qualifications & Skills
* Musical Proficiency: Demonstrated performance and teaching ability up to a Grade 5 level or equivalent in classical, acoustic, or electric guitar (proficiency in multiple styles is a significant asset).* Experience: Proven teaching experience (private tutoring, school, or academy setting) is preferred.* Education: Not a bar but with music in heart.* Soft Skills: Excellent communication, patience, organizational skills, and a genuine passion for teaching children and adults.Schedule & Compensation* Working Hours: 6 hours per day, specifically 3:00 PM to 9:00 PM.* Compensation: Competitive, based on experience.* Benefits: Paid Time off, health insuranceHow to Apply?
