Job Description

As a Tech Lead specializing in Guidewire Integration Development, you will have the opportunity to lead a team of software developers in solving complex business problems. Your technical expertise will be crucial as you produce, test, and debug codes while guiding engineers to follow best practices in software development. Joining our team at ValueMomentums Technology Solution Centers will allow you to make a significant impact and lead the way in driving change within the P&C insurance value chain. Key Responsibilities: - Serve as a technical lead, overseeing the efforts of development teams and collaborating with internal and external team members - Design, develop, modify, implement, and provide support for software components across the software stack - Identify root causes of complex software issues and develop effective technical solutions - Stay updated on new technologies, evaluate them, and make recommendations when necessary - Assist in task planning, estimation, and scheduling - Mentor Software Engineers to enhance their skills and knowledge through advice, coaching, and training opportunities - Identify process improvements, best practices, and develop new processes - Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams and management - Write, modify, and debug software for client applications - Stay composed and effective during crises - Stay current with the latest development practices Qualifications Required: - 7-10 years of IT experience with at least 3 years of experience in Guidewire integration development, preferably forms integration - Experience in integrating Guidewire Products such as Claim Center, Policy Center, Billing Center - Proficiency in integration components, including APIs, web services, and data mappings - Familiarity with web services (SOAP/REST), XML, JSON, and related technologies - Experience in the Insurance domain, specifically in commercial and personal lines of business - Agile/Scrum Project Experience - Strong conceptual, analytical, and mathematical skills About ValueMomentum: ValueMomentum is a leading solutions provider for the global property & casualty insurance industry, offering a range of services across the P&C insurance value chain.
