Guidewire Integration Developer

You are invited to apply for the position of Guidewire Integration Developer with our MNC client in Pune and Mumbai. As a Guidewire Integration Developer, your primary responsibility will be to design, develop, and implement solutions that facilitate seamless communication between Guidewire applications such as PolicyCenter, BillingCenter, or ClaimCenter, and various external systems. In this role, you will focus on ensuring smooth data flow and system functionality by designing and implementing integration solutions for Guidewire applications. You will collaborate with technical and functional teams to deliver solutions across Guidewire applications, utilizing middleware platforms and developing integration components using Gosu, Java, and web services (SOAP/REST). Additionally, you will be involved in creating various integration elements like message queues and web services, participating in testing, supporting deployments, creating documentation, and ensuring compliance with data security and privacy regulations. To excel in this role, you are expected to possess strong technical skills, including experience in Gosu and the Guidewire Integration Framework, proficiency in Java and object-oriented design, and knowledge of XML, JSON, and SQL. Experience with web services, Guidewire integration concepts such as batch processing, the Guidewire Data Model, and source control tools will be beneficial. Furthermore, you should have strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning skills. Apart from technical qualifications, you should also demonstrate strong problem-solving, analytical, and interpersonal skills. Effective time management, creativity, a customer-oriented approach, and attention to detail are important attributes for this role. Adaptability, the ability to manage multiple tasks, and the capacity to work independently as well as collaboratively are essential. Excellent communication skills and familiarity with Agile methodologies are typically required. Ideal candidates for this role will hold a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. The role typically requires 3-6+ years of development experience, with at least 3 years focused on Guidewire integration. Entry-level candidates should have a basic understanding of Guidewire's architecture, while experienced professionals may have opportunities to advance to leadership or business roles.
