Guidewire Developer

Job Description: You will be a Guidewire Developer in the Insurance Technology (InsurTech) / Property & Casualty (P&C) software services sector. Your primary role will involve delivering enterprise-grade policy, billing, and claims platforms for large insurers. As part of a delivery team, you will focus on Guidewire implementations, integrations, and customization at client sites across India. Key Responsibilities: - Design, develop, and configure Guidewire solutions (ClaimCenter / PolicyCenter / BillingCenter) using Gosu and Guidewire Studio to meet functional requirements. - Implement PCF pages, rules, entities, and data model changes; author/configure business rules and workflows for production readiness. - Build and maintain integrations using SOAP/REST web services, XML/XSD transformations, messaging, and third-party API connectors. - Write efficient SQL, create batch jobs/ETL processes, and optimize data access for large-scale transaction volumes. - Perform unit testing, debugging, performance tuning, and support deployment activities following CI/CD and change-control processes. - Collaborate with business analysts, QA, and on-site client teams in Agile ceremonies; provide technical estimates, documentation, and knowledge transfer. Qualifications Required: - Must-Have: - 3+ years hands-on experience with Guidewire product suite (ClaimCenter / PolicyCenter / BillingCenter) and Gosu development. - Strong Java backend skills and experience with Guidewire Studio, PCF, data model, and configuration artifacts. - Proven experience in integrating Guidewire with external systems using SOAP/REST, XML, and message-based patterns. - Solid SQL skills, familiarity with RDBMS (Oracle/SQL Server), and troubleshooting large dataset performance issues. - Preferred: - Experience with Guidewire upgrades, implementations, testing frameworks, and knowledge of Guidewire Best Practices. - Familiarity with Agile/Scrum teams, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and build automation tools.
