GUIDEWIRE CLAIMCENTER TESTING JD:
- Responsible for reviewing user stories, requirements, and technical design specification documents to provide timely feedback from a Quality Assurance Perspective
- Responsible to Create comprehensive test strategies, test plans, estimates, complex test scenarios and test cases, and lead / execute as per agreed delivery plan.
- Delivering timely testing estimates and scope of work with coverage and traceability to business / test requirements, scenarios, and test cases.
- Provide test artifact walkthroughs to the delivery team for review and feedback.
- Responsible for design / build / update / execution of existing and new regression test suites.
- Performing all aspects of functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end testing.
- Effective use of testing tools like JIRA/Zephyr to build /modify and execute manual test cases (where applicable) and bugs management.
- Implementing updates to the existing automation frameworks to support the testing.
- Review, propose and implement enhancements to the existing testing tools and processes. • Proactively identify and manage testing related risks and escalate when required.
- Collaborate with internal teams (e.g. developers, business analysts, scrum masters, product owners) and provide feedback from Testing perspectives.
- Meet occasionally challenging deadlines demand and perform effectively under pressure. • Maintain a positive, efficient, and collaborative working environment and influence others. • Being the voice of quality, raising issues when needed, and highlighting delivery risks.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant company IT testing standards / Controls to ensure developed software changes achieve the quality required to satisfy the business needs
Must Have Skills
- 5+ years of hands-on experience with Guidewire Suite (GW ClaimCenter, Contact Manager, ClaimCenter Integrations, Downstream and PolicyCenter)
- 5+ years of experience with manual/functional testing, Automation testing
- 5+ years of experience in the P&C Insurance Industry (Auto and Property LOB)
- Strong Knowledge and Understanding of Claims Lifecycle, Integrations, Adjudication, Claims Financial, Recovery and Reinsurance Process
- Good technical writing skills and ability to describe clearly complex processes and tasks
- Clear verbal & written communication skills in English
Great attitude and work ethics (Punctual, Creativity, Detail Oriented and Team player)
- Good understanding of the Software Development / Testing Life Cycle (SD/TLC), and the importance of testing to ensure quality and reliability of the changes.
- Experience with common tools & processes such as JIRA, Zephyr, Browser's developer tools, Agile/Scrum delivery.
- Have strong planning and problem-solving skills that allow effective software testing, identify bugs, and solve software testing delivery issues.
- Flexibility and adaptability to react to changing priorities and effectively manage changing expectations in a calm, professional and pleasant manner.
- ISTQB Certified or equivalent experience
- Aptitude in IT with an interest in expanding your IT skills.
- Ability to quickly learn and become familiar with the software product being tested. Good to have Skills
- API Testing (Experience in working with XML/JSON, SOAP API, REST API) –
Nice to have
- University degree in Computer Science / Engineering or equivalent experience –
- Automation experience in GW frameworks like GT-UI and API
