Role: Guidewire BillingCenter Configuration Developer Location: Mumbai/Bangalore/Hyderabad/Kolkata Experience: 6 - 14 years Job Summary: The Guidewire BillingCenter Configuration Developer is responsible for designing, configuring, and implementing solutions within the Guidewire BillingCenter module. This role involves customizing the application to meet the unique billing requirements of the organization, enhancing billing processes, and ensuring seamless integration with other systems. Key Responsibilities: Configuration and Customization: Customize and configure Guidewire BillingCenter to align with business requirements. Develop and modify billing workflows, user interfaces, and business rules within the BillingCenter module. Solution Development: Utilize Guidewire Studio and GOSU programming language to develop solutions. Implement changes to the data model, screen layouts, and integration points as necessary. Collaboration: Collaborate with business analysts, project managers, and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver solutions. Participate in requirement review sessions and provide technical expertise. Testing and Quality Assurance: Develop unit tests and participate in system testing to ensure quality and functionality. Work with QA teams to troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to BillingCenter configuration. Documentation: Prepare technical documentation for configured solutions, customizations, and workflows. Maintain documentation for future reference and knowledge sharing. Support and Maintenance: Provide ongoing support and maintenance for configured solutions within BillingCenter. Stay updated with new Guidewire releases and apply necessary upgrades. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and system enhancements within the BillingCenter module. Stay informed about industrys best practices and emerging technologies. Qualifications: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Proven experience in configuring and developing within Guidewire BillingCenter. Proficiency in GOSU programming and Guidewire Studio. Strong understanding of billing processes and Guidewire architecture. Experience with software development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills. Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Preferred Skills: Familiarity with other Guidewire modules such as PolicyCenter or ClaimCenter. Experience with integration technologies like Web Services and RESTful APIs. Knowledge of XML, JSON, and other data interchange formats.
