You will be working as an Associate - GST Litigation in Chandigarh location. Your role will involve the following responsibilities: **Role Overview:** As an Associate - GST Litigation, you will be responsible for assisting clients in responding to the tax department during enquiries, investigations, and audits. You will prepare replies to Show Cause notices and audit replies. Additionally, you will be required to attend hearings with tax officers as needed, prepare tax appeals to be filed at the Joint Commissioner (Appeals) and higher judicial forums, and conduct comprehensive research on various topics. **Key Responsibilities:** - Assist clients in responding to department enquiries, investigations, and audits - Prepare replies to Show Cause notices and audit replies - Attend hearings with tax officers as required - Prepare tax appeals for higher judicial forums - Conduct comprehensive research on various topics **Qualifications Required:** - CA or LLB from a known Law School with a strong academic track record - 0-4 years of experience in Indirect Tax, preferably in GST and Customs - Excellent communication and drafting skills - Strong analytical and researching skills - Attention to detail The company focuses on client service delivery by proactively identifying and discussing technical issues with clients while considering firm risk issues. You will handle tax matters, prepare submissions, replies to notices, appeals, and represent clients during appeals.
