The main responsibilities for this role include promoting and generating demand for biological products by conducting field demonstrations, engaging with influencer farmers, and organizing village-level farmers" meetings. You will be responsible for identifying suitable distributors and retailers to establish a distribution network for biological products. Additionally, you will need to develop business plans, achieve annual sales targets, and ensure timely collection of receivables within the assigned territory. It will be essential to provide training to Kisan advisors on conducting field demonstrations, farmer meetings, and promoting focus products. In the area of carbon business, your tasks will involve raising awareness and educating progressive farmers on adopting sustainable agriculture practices such as Direct Seeded Rice (DSR), Zero Tillage, and Crop residue management. You will be required to train Kisan advisors and farmers on the carbon farming program and facilitate the enrollment of farmers in the program. Furthermore, you will be expected to drive collaboration between the Biologicals and Carbon businesses by targeting and cross-selling to progressive farmers, understanding farmers" needs, and recommending the appropriate products and practices to meet those needs. The ideal candidate for this position must have a strong belief in sustainable agriculture practices, possess excellent sales skills with a demonstrated track record of success, hold a graduate or postgraduate degree in agriculture, and have a minimum of 5 years of work experience in sales of biologicals, agrochemicals, or related products.,
