Job Description

Lead the technical development and validation of train systems throughout the V-cycle and lifecycle.
Ensure conversion of customer and regulatory requirements into train-level requirements and specifications.
Collect and analyze customer needs and requirements to inform system design.
Collaborate with Sub-Systems Groups to lead functional analysis, specification, and architecture at the system level.
Support Sub-Systems Engineers to ensure designs meet specified targets throughout the project lifecycle.
Lead verification and validation activities at the system level to ensure reliability and functionality.
Resolve technical open issues during train revenue service in alignment with project strategy.

Job Requirements

Degree in engineering or a related field.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
Familiarity with operational analysis and functional specifications, along with knowledge of train performance, system architecture, and regulatory requirements.
Relevant certification in systems engineering or project management is preferred.
Ability to work closely with teams across the business, including System Engineers, Sub-System Engineers, and Project Cybersecurity Managers.
Experience working on high-speed trains, metros, monorails, trams, and turnkey systems, services, infrastructure, signalling, and digital mobility.
