Role Overview - We are looking for a driven and strategic Business Development Manager to lead our B2B client acquisition in the Kolkata market. This role will focus on building partnerships with schools (for carpool programs), 3 & 5-star hotels, IT companies, and IT parks , engaging directly with top-level executives to present our plug-and-play EV mobility model and secure long-term business contracts. Key Responsibilities - Identify, target, and onboard B2B clients in the Kolkata region, focusing on schools, premium hotels, IT companies, and IT parks. Build and maintain strong relationships with CXOs, decision-makers, and senior management to drive strategic partnerships. Present GRNLYFT Mobility’s plug-and-play EV transport solutions, highlighting cost savings, sustainability benefits, and operational ease. Negotiate and close business contracts, ensuring mutually beneficial terms. Collaborate with operations and marketing teams to design customised mobility solutions for each client segment. Track market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities in the EV and mobility sector. Represent GRNLYFT Mobility at industry events, networking meets, and client presentations in the Kolkata market. Prepare and present regular sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates to management. Key Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or related field (MBA preferred). 4–8 years of experience in B2B sales, corporate partnerships, or business development (experience in mobility, hospitality, education, or IT sectors is a plus). Proven track record of engaging with senior executives and closing high-value contracts. Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced startup environment. Passion for sustainability, clean mobility, and innovative business solutions.
