Grid management SCADA Systems Engineer

As a SCADA Systems Engineer at Efacec India Pvt.Ltd., with 4 to 10 years of experience, you will be responsible for a range of tasks including maintenance contract support, client assistance during warranty periods, troubleshooting Smart Grid products and systems, and managing updates in hardware and software to ensure minimal system downtime and high-quality project delivery. Key Responsibilities: - Lead the technical scope of SCADA projects by defining project scope with clients and project managers. - Configure databases, hardware, and ScateX modules such as DMS, OMS, OTS, Jasper Reports, etc. - Conduct internal tests, FAT, SAT, and commissioning activities. - Provide remote and on-site support for system installation and start-up. - Prepare and conduct client training sessions. - Report project status to management and clients. - Ensure compliance with quality, budget, and timeline requirements. - May require on-site presence for SAT and commissioning activities. Technical Skills Required: - Strong knowledge of SCADA and ADMS systems. - Familiarity with communication protocols like IEC104, IEC101, DNP, ICCP. - Experience with Oracle databases, DB monitoring, performance analysis, and troubleshooting. - Proficiency in operating systems such as Windows, Linux (bash proficiency required), ESXi/VMWare. - Familiarity with Microsoft Office, JavaScript, and Ansible. - Ability to manage multiple projects concurrently. - Mandatory proficiency in English, with French and Spanish being preferred but not mandatory.
