Job Summary: We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Freight Broker to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 6 months of experience in freight brokerage, logistics, or a related field. The Freight Broker will be responsible for negotiating freight rates, coordinating shipments, and ensuring timely deliveries while maintaining strong relationships with carriers and clients. Key Responsibilities: Identify and secure new clients while maintaining relationships with existing customers. Objectives of this role Serve as an intermediary between callers and units in the field to ensure that needed services and products are delivered Develop delivery or driving routes using mapping software along with weather and traffic information Assuage the distress of customers or members of the public during conflicts or crises Maintain up-to-date call logs or dispatching software to track ingoing and outgoing information Responsibilities Liaise with major contracted customers Oversee vehicle scheduling and routes, dispatch vehicles, and provide timely information to drivers Report all scheduling and driver complaints to the appropriate location manager Provide solutions for drop-off and pickup problems Assist with the supervision of day-to-day operations Required skills and qualifications Strong communication and interpersonal skills High fluency with computers and current software Ability to remain calm and deliver clear instructions under pressure Note: Preference will be given only for male candiate .
