Role & responsibilities Communications Strategy & Management Develop and implement a comprehensive communication strategy aligned with Green Worms goals. Oversee internal and external communication efforts to maintain consistency and brand identity. Coordinate with relevant departments to gather stories, data, and insights to craft compelling narratives. Monitor and measure the impact of communication strategies and optimize them accordingly.Marketing & Content Dissemination Develop high-quality marketing materials, press releases, reports, newsletters, and digital content. Lead the creation of social media and digital campaigns that increase awareness and brand engagement. Supervise the production of multimedia content, including videos, graphics, and text based contents..Team Management & Coordination Lead and mentor a communications team, including content creators, Writer and Graphic Designer. Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure aligned messaging and objectives. Foster relationships with media, journalists, and influencers to amplify Green Worms’ initiatives.Community & Stakeholder Engagement Develop communication strategies to engage local communities, waste workers, and policymakers. Conduct training and workshops to enhance the communication skills of the team and stakeholders. Represent Green Worms in industry events, panel discussions, and public forums.Crisis Communication & Reputation Management Develop crisis communication plans to manage and respond to any reputational risks. Ensure all public statements and responses align with Green Worms’ values and mission.Qualifications & Skills Master’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field. Minimum of 7 years of experience in communications, marketing, or media (preference for any service sector). Strong understanding of environmental issues, sustainability, and the circular economy. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Malayalam. Proven experience in developing and executing successful communication campaigns. Knowledge in digital marketing tools, content management systems (WordPress), and graphic design software (Adobe Suite). Experience in managing and growing social media presence across platforms. Strong leadership, project management, and organizational skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with multiple stakeholders. Willingness to travel occasionally for project-related activities.
