Position: Civil Draftsman Location: Dubai, UAE Candidate Preference: Indian National Industry: Construction / Contracting / Civil Engineering / Infrastructure Employment Type: Full-Time Role Overview The Civil Draftsman will prepare, modify, and update CAD drawings for civil and architectural works for construction projects in Dubai. The candidate must have strong drafting skills, knowledge of UAE standards, and ability to coordinate with engineers, architects, and site teams. Key Responsibilities 1. Drawing Preparation & Drafting • Prepare CAD drawings, plans, sections, elevations, and layouts. • Convert sketches, site measurements, and engineer inputs into accurate drawings. • Develop shop drawings and as-built drawings. 2. Coordination • Coordinate with engineers, architects, and project managers. • Update drawings based on revisions and site changes. • Attend drawing coordination meetings. 3. Documentation & Control • Maintain drawing registers, revision logs, and submission records. • Ensure drawings meet company and authority standards. • Submit drawings to consultants and follow up for approvals. 4. Site Support • Conduct site visits for measurements and verification. • Provide technical drawing support to site teams. • Prepare layout plans for site execution. 5. Compliance & Standards • Ensure compliance with Dubai Municipality, Trakhees, DDA, and project-specific requirements. • Maintain accuracy and precision in drawings.
