You should have 6-8 years of experience in business services, outsourcing, or similar fields along with in-depth knowledge of procurement processes, key roles, departments, and common process performance indicators. As a Planning and Engagement Content Lead in the Finance business entity, your primary responsibility will be to play a critical role in transforming procurement channels and related content, particularly in the area of Guided Buying. Your role involves deploying procurement buying methodology to facilitate the simplest channels for category strategies through the Digital Operating System, utilizing Ariba Spend Management and SAP S4 Hana implementations. You will be engaging with Category, Sourcing, Operations, deployment teams, and managed service providers to support Procurement Category Directors and Category Owners in developing content options that simplify the buying experience. It is crucial for you to build a strong technical knowledge of SAP Ariba and S4 to provide guidance and inspiration to Category teams in content development. Your responsibilities will include managing content and buying channel KPIs, reporting progress, identifying risks, and recommending opportunities for improvement. Additionally, you will collaborate with Planning & Engagement tower and category teams to enhance capability and understanding of available buying channels. You will act as an expert on content and buying channels for Procurement, continuously monitoring developments in simplified buying channels and SAP Guided Buying functionality. Your role will also involve performing supplier lists, contracts lists, and spend data analysis to recommend the simplest buying channel to category teams, coaching and advising on setting up suppliers and guided buying processes, and contributing to the Digital Operating System Program milestones. To be successful in this role, you must possess a Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related area and have experience in business analysis, process management, and continuous improvement initiatives. Strong communication skills, interpersonal skills, and the ability to influence others to achieve goals are essential. Proficiency in Microsoft applications, excellent time management, problem-solving abilities, and innovative thinking are also crucial for this role. If you have experience in the oil industry, implementation projects, change management, and automation projects, it would be considered desirable.
