Job Description

Role Overview

The Graphic Designer will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and delivering creative visual content that reflects the school's ethos, engages parents and students, and enhances the institution's brand presence across print, digital, and social media platforms.

Key Responsibilities

  • Design & Branding

    • Create high-quality designs for school brochures, newsletters, posters, banners, signage, yearbooks, and other school-related materials.

    • Ensure consistent use of school logos, colors, and brand guidelines across all designs.

  • Digital Media

    • Develop graphics and layouts for the school website, social media posts, digital invitations, and online campaigns.

  • Events & Marketing

    • Design promotional material for school events, celebrations, admissions campaigns, and cultural activities.

    • Support in developing presentations and digital backdrops for events.

  • Collaboration

    • Work closely with the Principal, teachers, and administrative team to understand design needs.

  • Innovation

    • Stay updated with design trends and bring creative ideas suited to the school environment.

    • Suggest new ways to use visuals for student engagement, alumni connect, and community building.


Requirements

Qualifications & Skills

  • Bachelor's degree / diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or related field.

  • Proficiency in design software (Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, Canva, CorelDRAW, etc.).

  • Strong creative and visual storytelling skills.

  • Knowledge of designing for both print and digital platforms.

  • Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.

  • Photography and video editing skills (added advantage).

  • Prior experience in an educational setup is preferred, but not mandatory.

Soft Skills

  • Attention to detail and aesthetic sense.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

  • Adaptability to the school's culture and timelines.
