Graphic Design Internship

Role Overview: As a Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for planning concepts, illustrating designs, preparing finished art, and coordinating with various stakeholders to ensure high-quality visuals for products, logos, and websites. You will contribute to team efforts, communicate with clients, review layouts, and suggest improvements when necessary. Your role will involve creating a wide range of graphics and layouts using software such as Photoshop, with a focus on visual composition and meeting deadlines. Key Responsibilities: - Plan concepts based on relevant information and materials. - Illustrate designs by creating examples of art arrangement, size, and style for approval. - Prepare finished art using necessary equipment and software. - Coordinate with outside agencies, web designers, printers, and colleagues as required. - Contribute to team efforts by completing tasks effectively. - Communicate with clients regarding layout and design. - Create graphics and layouts for product illustrations, logos, and websites. - Review final layouts and provide suggestions for improvements. Qualifications Required: - Bachelor's degree in graphic design or a related field. - Previous experience as a graphic designer or in a related field. - Demonstrable graphic design skills with a strong portfolio. - Proficiency in desktop publishing tools like Photoshop, InDesign, Quark, and Illustrator. - Strong eye for visual composition. - Effective time management skills and ability to meet deadlines. - Ability to give and receive constructive criticism. - Understanding of marketing, production, website design, corporate identity, product packaging, advertisements, and multimedia design. - Experience with computer-aided design.
