Key Responsibilities

• Collaborate with stakeholders to understand monitoring requirements and design appropriate Grafana dashboards.
• Architect, implement, and maintain Grafana solutions for monitoring time series data.
• Optimize dashboard performance and ensure efficient data retrieval.
• Develop and customize plugins and data sources for Grafana as needed.
• Ensure the security and integrity of Grafana dashboards and data sources.
• Provide technical guidance and support for Grafana-related queries and issues.
• Stay updated with Grafana features, best practices, and industry trends.
• Perform performance tuning and capacity planning for Grafana instances.
• Automate Grafana dashboard deployments and configurations.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate Grafana with other monitoring tools.
• Create documentation and provide training on Grafana usage and best practices.
• Participate in architecture and design reviews related to Grafana implementation.
• Conduct regular health checks and maintenance of Grafana instances.
• Proactively identify and address potential issues in Grafana dashboards and data visualization.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as a Grafana Architect or similar role in a large-scale environment.
• Demonstrated expertise in designing and building complex Grafana dashboards.
• Proficiency in querying, analyzing, and visualizing time series data using Grafana.
• Strong understanding of monitoring principles, tools, and best practices.
• Experience with Grafana plugins development and customization.
• In-depth knowledge of Grafana security, authentication, and access control.
• Ability to troubleshoot and optimize Grafana dashboards for performance.
• Excellent scripting and automation skills using languages such as Python, Bash, or JavaScript.
• Good understanding of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with integrating Grafana with various data sources and third-party tools.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
• Proactive and self-motivated with a continuous improvement mindset.
• Certifications in Grafana or related technologies are a plus.
• Understanding of cloud platforms and containerization technologies is desirable.
