Graduate Trainee | Industrial Design

We are looking for a talented and creative Entry Level Industrial Designer to join our dynamic team. As an Industrial Designer, you will be responsible for collaborating with cross-functional teams to brainstorm and develop concepts for new and existing products. Your role will involve creating 2D/3D sketches, renderings, mockups, and prototypes to visualize design ideas and concepts. Utilizing 3D CAD software, you will develop detailed models and specifications that meet project requirements. Working closely with the engineering team, you will ensure that designs are feasible and meet technical specifications. Additionally, you will conduct user studies, gather feedback, and stay updated on industry trends to incorporate into designs. Your ability to communicate and present design concepts effectively to internal teams and stakeholders will be crucial. You will also assist in the development of product documentation, including user manuals and specifications. Key Responsibilities: - Collaborate with the cross-functional team to brainstorm and develop concepts for new and existing products. - Create 2D/3D sketches, renderings, mockups and prototypes to visualize design ideas and concepts. - Utilize 3D CAD software to develop detailed models and specifications that meet project requirements. - Work closely with the engineering team to ensure designs are feasible and meet technical specifications. - Conduct user studies and gather feedback to inform design decisions and improvements. - Stay updated on industry trends, materials, and manufacturing processes to incorporate into designs. - Communicate and present design concepts effectively to internal teams and stakeholders. - Assist in the development of product documentation, including user manuals and specifications. Expected Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: - Good technical aptitude and communication skills. - Good problem-solving abilities. - Fluent in English. Multilingual is preferable. - Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams. - Good presentation skills. - Should be able to travel for business purposes. - Strong proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Autodesk Fusion 360). - Excellent sketching and rendering skills to communicate design ideas visually. - Ability to create physical mockups and prototypes using various materials and techniques. Expected Qualification: - Completed Bachelor or Master degree with minimum 7.0 CGPA in Industrial Design or Product Design. - Freshers are eligible to apply. - Maximum total experience should not exceed 1 year. Benefits: - During the 12-month training period, the salary will be INR 30,000 per month for candidates with a Master's degree and INR 25,000 per month for those with a Bachelor's degree. - Upon successful completion of training and a performance review, you will be offered full-time employment with an annual salary ranging from INR 4,50,000 to 6,50,000. - Exposure to emerging technologies. - Opportunity to travel to customer locations for deployment. - Trainees are eligible for medical insurance coverage.,
