Job Description

You are a detail-oriented and proactive Google My Business (GMB) Specialist responsible for managing and optimizing Google My Business listings. Your main focus will be on enhancing visibility in local search results by utilizing your expertise in local SEO, online reputation management, and digital marketing strategies. As a Google My Business Specialist, your key responsibilities include creating, claiming, and verifying GMB listings for multiple locations. You will ensure that all business information is accurate and regularly update listings with new content such as photos, posts, and offers. Implementing local SEO strategies to improve search rankings, conducting keyword research, and optimizing GMB listings are crucial tasks in your role. Customer engagement plays a significant role in your job, where you will monitor and respond to customer reviews and questions on GMB. Engaging with customers through posts and updates to promote services, events, and special offers is essential. You will also analyze GMB insights and performance metrics to assess the effectiveness of listings, preparing regular reports and providing recommendations for improvement. Collaboration with marketing, sales, and customer service teams is key to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all platforms. Working closely with web developers and designers to enhance the overall online presence is part of your responsibilities. Staying updated on the latest trends and updates in local SEO and Google My Business features by attending training sessions and webinars is necessary to continuously improve your skills and knowledge. Qualifications for this role include a Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field. You should have proven experience in local SEO, digital marketing, or managing Google My Business listings. Strong analytical skills, experience with data analysis tools, excellent written and verbal communication skills, familiarity with online review management, and proficiency in using GMB are required. This position requires 3 to 6 years of experience. The salary range is open for discussion, and the work location is in Kolkata with a hybrid work mode.
