Job Description

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Google Cloud Architect to join our team at CGI Information Systems and Management Consultants. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in designing and implementing scalable, secure, and efficient cloud-based solutions on the Google Cloud Platform.

Roles and Responsibility

Design and implement comprehensive cloud architectures that meet business requirements and align with industry best practices.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify opportunities for cost savings, process improvements, and technological advancements.
Develop and maintain technical documentation of cloud infrastructure, applications, and services.
Ensure compliance with security standards, data privacy regulations, and industry frameworks.
Provide technical leadership and guidance to junior team members on cloud architecture design and implementation.
Stay up-to-date with emerging trends, technologies, and features in the Google Cloud Platform ecosystem.

Job Requirements

Strong understanding of cloud computing concepts, including IaaS, PaaS, SaaS, and hybrid cloud models.
Experience with Google Cloud Platform services such as Compute Engine, Storage Bucket, BigQuery, Cloud Functions, and Cloud SQL.
Knowledge of containerization using Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes.
Familiarity with Agile development methodologies and version control systems like Git.
Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues and develop creative solutions.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with experience working with distributed teams.
