Cloud Solutions Architect / Integration Lead

Role Overview:

We are seeking a highly capableGoogle Application Integration Engineerto lead the setup and development of integration solutions usingGoogle Cloud Application Integration, with a strong focus on integrating withApache/Confluent Kafka and setting up Connectors for on-prem /Cloud systems. Good to have Google Apigee Development experience and Google Cloud Exposure.

The ideal candidate will design and implement scalable, secure, and real-time integration flows across cloud and enterprise platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

Integration Setup:

• Configure and manageGoogle Cloud Application Integrationenvironments.
• Set up and maintainconnectorsfor:
• Apache Kafka(including Confluent Kafka) for real-time data streaming.
• AWS S3for cloud storage integration and data exchange.
• Apigeefor secure API management and gateway configuration.
• Third-party platforms like Confluent Kafka, AWS Services, Salesforce, SAP, and ServiceNow.
• Establishidentity federation, access controls, and security policies for integrated systems.
• Design and documentintegration architecture, including Kafka, and Apigee API proxies.
• Monitor and optimize integration performance usingCloud Monitoring,Cloud Logging, andConfluent Control Center.

Integration Development:

• Develop integration flows usingGoogle Apps Scripts andGoogle Cloud Functions.
• Build and consumeRESTful APIs, implementevent-driven triggers, and managedata transformations.
• UseGemini AIand visual editors to create integrations from natural language prompts.
• Good to have: Develop Kafka producers/consumers to stream data between Google Cloud services and enterprise systems.
• Implement data ingestion and export pipelines betweenGoogle Cloudandother systems.
• Strong understanding ofworkflow automation,data mapping, andintegration patterns.
• Good to have: Design and deployApigee API proxies, policies, and analytics dashboards.
• Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather requirements and deliver custom solutions.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and documentation skills.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience in cloud-based application integration(iPaaS), preferably with Google Cloud.
• Strong proficiency inGoogle Apps Script,JavaScript,Python, or similar languages.
• Experience withGoogle Cloud Platform (GCP)services like Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, Big Query, and Cloud Storage.
• Hands-on experience withConfluent Kafka, including Kafka Connect, Streams, and Schema Registry. Good to have.
• Exposure toApigee API Management, including proxy development, policy configuration, and analytics.
• Familiarity withOAuth 2.0,JSON/XML, andAPI management.
• Knowledge ofCI/CD pipelinesand version control (e.g., Git).
• Knowledge ofiPaaS platforms,middleware, andenterprise integration patterns.
• Excellent communication, documentation, and troubleshooting skills.
