The purpose of the role is to mobilize potential candidates, specifically underprivileged candidates, for skill development programs according to project requirements. This involves regular visits to communities and local bodies to identify suitable candidates, attending and organizing workshops and community meetings to raise awareness, ensuring timely formation of batches with the right number of candidates, and identifying local partners to support the implementation of activities. Additionally, counseling candidates and parents to enroll and continue in the program, collecting feedback on candidate performance, supporting the collection of required documents, maintaining monitoring systems using MIS database, and updating reports regularly are key responsibilities. The job setting requires flexibility in extending office hours, working indoors in controlled environments, traveling, collaborating with Center Heads and Project Heads, and providing prompt service. Essential skills for this role include a willingness to travel, knowledge of the city's geographical areas, proficiency in local language communication, ability to work in a team and multicultural environment, diplomatic and effective communication skills, autonomy in work, and preferably a Bachelor's or Master's degree in social work. The preferred languages for this position are English and the local language.
