Job Description We are looking for a highly motivated Academic Counsellor to guide aspiring pilots through their journey into Commercial Pilot Training. The role involves counselling prospective students, explaining the pilot training programs, helping them make informed decisions, and ensuring smooth enrollment into our training academy. You will be the first point of contact for all student-related queries and play a critical role in shaping aviation careers. Key Responsibilities Counsel students (and parents) regarding Commercial Pilot License (CPL), Cadet Pilot Program, and DGCA Ground Classes. Explain course structures, eligibility criteria, fee structures, career paths, and post-training opportunities. Handle inbound and outbound calls, WhatsApp, email & walk-in inquiries professionally. Conduct one-on-one counselling sessions (virtual/in-person) to understand student goals. Guide students through course selection, training schedules, and licensing pathways. Maintain accurate student records and ensure seamless communication between departments. Follow up with leads, maintain CRM records, and track conversions. Assist in administrative tasks related to student enrollment, scheduling, and document verification. Coordinate with instructors and operations team to ensure smooth training progression for students. Participate in webinars, seminars, and education fairs to promote the institution’s programs. Stay updated on DGCA regulations, CPL requirements, and industry trends. Preferred Qualifications CPL (Commercial Pilot License) holder strongly preferred. Bachelor’s degree in any field (Aviation or Education background is a plus). Additional certification in counselling, aviation, or sales will be an advantage. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Proficient in using CRM platforms, MS Office, and email communication tools. Fast learner with the ability to grasp aviation training workflows. Empathetic, student-first approach with a passion for mentoring future pilots.
