Job Description

About the Role:

Senior Software Quality Assurance (SQA) Engineer

Key Responsibilities:

Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for complex systems and applications.
Perform manual testing to ensure software quality across various environments including Windows, Linux, and cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Collaborate closely with development and product teams to ensure high test coverage and resolve issues promptly.
Write and maintain automated test scripts using Golang and Python.
Identify, document, and track bugs using standard tools and processes.
Contribute to test strategies and process improvements for better coverage and efficiency.
Provide clear and detailed documentation of test procedures, results, and related technical materials.

Required Qualifications:

5+ years of relevant experience in Software Quality Assurance.
Proven hands-on experience in
Golang
and
Python
.
Strong understanding of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
Proficient in
manual testing
across
on-premise and cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP)
.
Working knowledge of
Windows
and
Linux
operating systems.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to detail.

Preferred Qualifications:

Prior experience working on
NetBackup
or with
Cohesity products
.
Exposure to CI/CD pipelines and automation frameworks.
Experience in enterprise-scale storage or backup solutions is a plus.
