Job Title: Accounts Analyst (Bank Reconciliation ) Location: Remote (India) Work Timings: 9AM to 5PM EST About the Role We are looking for a highly motivated Accounts Analyst to join our finance team, with Bank Reconciliation as the core responsibility. Key Responsibilities • Perform daily, weekly, and monthly bank reconciliations across multiple accounts. • Investigate and resolve reconciliation discrepancies in a timely manner. • Assist with month-end closing activities and provide supporting schedules related to bank accounts. • Ensure accurate recording of financial transactions in compliance with accounting standards. • Liaise with internal departments and external banks to resolve queries or mismatches. • Identify process improvement opportunities within reconciliation and accounting processes. • Support audits by preparing relevant documentation and account analyses. • Continuously update knowledge of accounting principles and banking operations. Requirements • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Commerce with excellent academic performance. • Strong technical understanding of accounting principles (e.g., journal entries, ledgers, accruals, reconciliations). • High attention to detail, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills. • Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and take ownership of tasks. • Good communication and interpersonal skills. • Proficient in MS Excel; exposure to accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or ERP systems) is a plus.
