Core patient care duties

• Patient assessment: Monitor and assess patient health conditions, vital signs (temperature, pulse, blood pressure), and report changes to the medical team.
• Medication administration: Administer medications, injections, and intravenous infusions as prescribed.
• Direct assistance: Help patients with daily activities such as bathing, dressing, eating, and mobility.

• Wound care: Dress wounds and apply surgical dressings.
• Pre and post-operative care: Provide pre-operative care and intensive post-operative care.

Documentation and communication

• Record keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed medical records of patient health status, treatment plans, and vital signs.
• Reporting: Document patient observations and report any changes or incidents to the appropriate medical staff.
• Collaboration: Work with doctors, other nurses, and healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and effective patient care.

• Patient/Family education: Educate patients and their families about their health conditions, treatments, and self-care techniques.Safety and support

• Safety protocols: Adhere to strict safety protocols, infection control measures, and hospital policies.
• Emotional support: Provide emotional support and a compassionate approach to patients and their families.
• Environment maintenance: Help ensure a clean and safe environment and properly dispose of medical waste and sharps.

• Assist in procedures: Assist doctors during medical procedures and surgeries.Additional responsibilities

• Midwifery: Some GNM nurses may provide care related to women's health, including pregnancy and childbirth.
• Community health: Some roles involve community health education, health checks, and vaccination programs in a community setting.
• Supervision: Some GNM nurses may supervise junior staff or student nurses.
• Administrative tasks: Perform other duties like transporting patients, equipment, and specimens, and managing hospital laundry.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: ₹10,000.00 - ₹12,000.00 per month
