Job Title: Fleet Manager Company: Globeline Shipping Location: Hyderabad Job Type: Full-Time / Work from Office Experience: Minimum 5–10 years in fleet management Job Summary: Globeline Shipping is seeking a highly organized and proactive Fleet Manager to oversee the efficient operation, maintenance, and compliance of our fleet. The ideal candidate will ensure timely dispatch, maintenance schedules, cost control, and regulatory adherence, supporting smooth logistics and customer satisfaction. Key Responsibilities: Oversee day-to-day operations of the fleet, including vehicle allocation, routing, and dispatch. Monitor vehicle usage, mileage, fuel consumption, and driver behavior using GPS and fleet management systems. Schedule and supervise preventive maintenance, repairs, inspections, and servicing of vehicles. Ensure all fleet vehicles comply with transport laws, company standards, and safety regulations. Manage driver assignments, rosters, and resolve issues related to performance or discipline. Maintain accurate records of vehicle registration, insurance, maintenance logs, and incident reports. Prepare and manage the fleet budget, aiming to reduce operational costs while maintaining high standards. Coordinate with logistics, HR, and operations teams for optimal resource planning. Handle procurement of new vehicles, leasing, and disposal of old units as per company policy. Ensure all documentation, such as permits and licenses, is up to date and renewed timely. Key Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Transportation, Business Administration, or a related field. Proven experience in fleet management, preferably in shipping, logistics, or transportation sectors. Strong knowledge of vehicle maintenance, transport regulations, and safety standards. Proficiency in fleet management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to handle pressure and make quick, informed decisions.
