Global Technical Expert, Application Infrastructure Engineer

Role Overview: As the Infrastructure Architect, you will be responsible for acting as the primary point of contact for Application and Infrastructure teams regarding infrastructure architecture activities. You will support application assessment and classification to ensure accurate mapping of business requirements. Additionally, you will translate non-functional requirements into infrastructure component designs, perform infrastructure sizing, and develop and maintain infrastructure architecture design documents. Key Responsibilities: - Act as the primary point of contact for Application and Infrastructure teams regarding infrastructure architecture activities. - Support application assessment and classification to ensure accurate mapping of business requirements. - Translate non-functional requirements (NFRs) into infrastructure component designs. - Perform infrastructure sizing to meet performance, capacity, and growth needs. - Develop and maintain As-Is and To-Be Infrastructure Architecture Design documents. - Review, validate, and approve infrastructure design changes. - Support application migration and upgrade strategies and execution. - Assist in triaging and troubleshooting high-priority incidents. Qualification Required: - University degree in Computer Science or a comparable field. - 12+ years of overall experience in IT Infrastructure (Public Cloud / On-Prem). - 10+ years of experience in private cloud hosting technologies (e.g., VMware, Nutanix, CommVault, NetApp, F5). - Expertise in defining deployment patterns for Operating Systems and Databases. - Experience designing infrastructure for data protection and resiliency (HA/DR). - Knowledge of network services (switching, routing, load balancing, firewalls, DNS, etc.). - Familiarity with security services (IAM, SIEM, SOC, VA/PT, etc.). - Hands-on experience in hybrid and multi-cloud environments. - Essential skills: Strong reasoning, decision-making, and collaboration abilities across cross-functional teams. - Languages: Fluent in English (written and spoken).
