As the Global Process Owner at Novartis in Barcelona, Spain, you will play a crucial role in shaping the future of pharmaceutical operations by leveraging your expertise in serialization and product tracking. Your responsibilities will include: - Mapping and documenting serialization and product tracking processes across manufacturing, warehouse, and supply chain - Implementing business process management standards and conducting regular assessments - Identifying and prioritizing improvement areas using assessment results and performance data - Driving global and local process standardization through a step-out management framework - Defining and monitoring KPIs to measure and improve process performance - Collaborating with data owners and stakeholders to streamline end-to-end processes - Leading technology adoption and automation initiatives to enhance process efficiency - Establishing process roles, responsibilities, and governance aligned with global frameworks - Building and sustaining communities of practice for process operations and knowledge sharing - Benchmarking internal metrics against industry standards to ensure continuous improvement Qualifications required for this role include: - Proven expertise in serialization and product tracking within the pharmaceutical industry - Hands-on experience with manufacturing and packaging line processes - Proficiency in SAP systems, including SAP ATTP and SAP ICH - Strong background in process mapping and documentation - Familiarity with Lean Six Sigma or similar process improvement methodologies - Strategic thinking and the ability to influence senior stakeholders - Excellent communication skills across all organizational levels - Solid understanding of global business operations and data governance Desirable qualifications include certification in Lean Six Sigma or similar process improvement methodology and experience working in a global matrix organization with cross-functional teams.
