Global Financial Project Accounting

As a Project Accounting Associate at ERM, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the financial health and proper administration of client projects. Your responsibilities will include accurately setting up projects in ERM's systems, maintaining financial records, facilitating client invoicing, and closing projects upon completion. Key Responsibilities: - Set up projects with accurate structure, budgets, project team access, and billing rates - Partner with project teams to resolve variances - Obtain project team approval for accurate invoices, including necessary corrections - Send invoices to clients promptly to meet WIP DSO goals - Regularly review project activity and close projects after work completion - Escalate outstanding issues to PA and Finance leadership or project teams as needed - Meet individual and team performance KPIs - Ensure compliance with ERM policies and procedures Skills Required: - Effective communication with internal and external stakeholders at all levels - Ability to work independently and collaboratively to meet deadlines - Strong organizational skills and attention to detail - Motivated with a strong work ethic - Proficient in Excel, BST experience preferred Qualifications: - Degree in commerce (B.Com, M.Com), BBA, or equivalent - Additional courses or certifications in accounting, finance, or project management are advantageous - Three to five years of project accounting (billing) experience, preferably in professional services - Ability to work 2nd shift Join ERM, the world's largest global sustainability consultancy, and be part of a team dedicated to driving sustainable impact for clients and the planet.
