Overview:

Skilled GIS Support Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in GIS technologies and tools, with a strong background in GIS analysis, data management, and problem-solving. The role requires a detail-oriented individual who can support GIS projects, troubleshoot issues, and provide technical guidance to ensure the effective use of GIS systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide technical support for GIS software and tools, including ArcGIS, QGIS, and related applications.
• Assist in the creation, editing, and management of GIS data layers and databases.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to GIS data, software, and hardware.
• Perform data analysis and generate maps, reports, and visualizations as needed.
• Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to understand GIS requirements and provide solutions.
• Maintain and update GIS documentation and workflows.
• Assist with the integration of GIS data with other systems and technologies.
• Conduct training sessions and provide support for GIS users.
  

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, Cartography, or a related field; relevant certifications are a plus.
• Proven experience with GIS software (e.g., ArcGIS Desktop/Pro, QGIS) and related tools (e.g., ArcPy, Python).
• Strong understanding of GIS concepts, data formats, projections, and coordinate systems.
• Experience in data management, spatial analysis, and map creation.
• Familiarity with database management systems (e.g., SQL, Spatial Databases).
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to communicate technical information to non-technical users.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks and projects.
  

Preferred Skills:

Experience with Revit and Dynamo for GIS integrations
