Job Description

We are looking for a skilled GIS Specialist to support spatial data analysis and mapping for the planning and integration of various transportation modes within our upcoming Multimodal Transport Hub. This role is key to spatial planning, land use evaluation, and infrastructure alignment. Key Responsibilities: Collect, process, and analyze spatial data to support planning decisions. Create and maintain GIS databases for roadways, rail, metro, land parcels, utilities, and other infrastructure elements. Prepare high-quality maps, thematic layers, and visualizations for planning reports and presentations. Perform spatial analysis for route optimization, land use planning, and environmental assessments. Integrate GIS data with CAD and BIM outputs for infrastructure planning. Support project teams with data-driven decision-making and geospatial reports. Coordinate with planning, engineering, and survey teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency. Qualications: Bachelors Degree in Geography, Geoinformatics, Urban Planning, or Civil Engineering with GIS specialization. 710 years of hands-on experience in GIS, preferably in infrastructure or urban transport projects. Proficiency in ArcGIS, QGIS, or similar GIS software. Familiarity with remote sensing tools, GPS data processing, and spatial database management (PostGIS, etc.). Ability to interpret topographical maps, satellite imagery, and geospatial datasets. Preferred: Experience with integration of GIS in multimodal transport systems. Knowledge of Indian spatial planning standards and smart city initiatives.
