GIS LiDAR Analyst

Job Summary:

Bigwigs Technologies is hiring a GIS LiDAR Analyst to join our geospatial team in Subramaniyapuram, Trichy. The ideal candidate will work on processing and analyzing LiDAR (Light Detection and Ranging) data and integrating it with GIS platforms to support mapping and data annotation projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Process and classify LiDAR point cloud data
• Create DEM, DSM, and other terrain models
• Annotate, filter, and manage LiDAR datasets
• Integrate GIS and LiDAR data using tools like ArcGIS/QGIS
• Maintain accuracy and quality in all outputs
• Support related data annotation and mapping tasks

Eligibility Criteria:

• Any degree in Computer Science, Geography, or related field (BCA/B.Sc/B.E preferred)
• Basic knowledge of GIS software (ArcGIS, QGIS)
• Interest in LiDAR and spatial data analysis
• Freshers with relevant knowledge or training can apply

Additional Skills (Preferred but not required):

• Knowledge of LiDAR processing tools like LAStools, Global Mapper, or LP360
• Experience in data annotation or mapping projects
• Familiarity with 3D models and terrain analysis
