GIS Executive

As a GIS/CAD Drafting and Design professional, your role will involve developing and modifying detailed CAD drawings for railway infrastructure projects. This includes creating track layouts, station designs, and other civil/structural components while ensuring that designs meet technical and regulatory standards with precision and attention to detail. You will collaborate closely with senior engineers to translate conceptual designs into construction-ready drawings. Your responsibilities will also include processing, analyzing, and managing data related to railway networks and infrastructure. This involves cleaning, validating, and organizing data to support GIS applications and railway planning tools. Additionally, you will assist in creating and maintaining Geographic Information Systems (GIS) databases for railway projects, supporting GIS data mapping, analysis, and visualization using industry-standard software. You will play a crucial role in integrating GIS data with other software applications to enhance railway planning, route analysis, and asset management. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you will ensure that GIS and CAD solutions meet project requirements and contribute to feasibility studies and route planning through geospatial data and analysis. Moreover, you will be involved in quality control checks on GIS maps, CAD drawings, and data to ensure accuracy and compliance with project specifications. In terms of qualifications, you should hold a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Geography, Geomatics, or a related field. Ideally, you should have 1-3 years of hands-on experience in CAD drafting, GIS mapping, and data processing, preferably in railway, transmission, or infrastructure projects. Proficiency in CAD software for drafting and design, GIS software for data mapping and spatial analysis, and Microsoft Office Suite for reporting and documentation is essential. An understanding of railway infrastructure components and geospatial data formats is also required. Desirable skills include experience with other CAD or GIS tools, the ability to work with 3D modeling in CAD, strong communication skills, and the capacity to work independently and within a team environment with excellent time management and organizational skills. This is a full-time position with a day shift schedule and requires in-person work at the designated location.,
