GIS / AutoCAD Expert

As a skilled GIS/AutoCAD Expert, you will play a crucial role in integrating Geographic Information Systems (GIS) with AutoCAD applications, focusing on land surveying and construction projects. Your responsibilities will include: - Developing and maintaining detailed CAD drawings using AutoCAD software, ensuring accuracy and compliance with project specifications. - Utilizing ArcGIS to analyze spatial data, create maps, and generate reports to support project decisions. - Collaborating with land surveying teams to integrate survey data into GIS systems for improved project planning. - Managing and organizing large datasets to maintain data integrity and accessibility for team members. - Assisting in the preparation of construction documents such as site plans, profiles, and cross-sections. - Providing technical support and training on GIS and AutoCAD applications to staff as needed. - Keeping abreast of industry trends and advancements in GIS technology and CAD software. Qualifications required for this role include: - Proficiency in AutoCAD with a solid understanding of CAD principles and practices. - Experience with ArcGIS software for spatial analysis and mapping tasks. - Background in land surveying, including familiarity with survey equipment and techniques. - Strong data management skills to effectively handle complex datasets. - Previous experience in construction-related projects is advantageous but not essential. - Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical skills to interpret data accurately.
