Role Overview We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Human Resources Specialist to join our Barasat facility. This role is essential to ensuring smooth HR operations, supporting our growing workforce, and maintaining compliance with industry standards and labor regulations. Key Responsibilities Manage recruitment and onboarding of new employees Maintain and update employee personnel records and handle payroll processing Support employee relations and grievance redressal Coordinate training and development programs and prepare necessary documentation Develop and update HR policies and procedures in compliance with labor laws Handle statutory compliances including PF & ESIC challan submission, enrollment, settlement claims, and corrections Assist in managing HR-related audits (e.g. SA8000, ISO 9001, BSCI, GOTS, SEDEX) Prepare monthly worker wages and maintain attendance and time records Oversee biometric attendance system and provide related administrative support Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field 2+ years of experience in an HR role, preferably in a manufacturing or export environment Knowledge of Indian labor laws and statutory compliance (PF, ESIC, etc.) Familiarity with social and quality compliance audits Proficiency in MS Office and HR systems Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to work independently and handle confidential information with integrity Show more Show less
