Geographic Information System Specialist

You will be working for a global IT leader that specializes in IT consulting, business process management, and digital transformation across various industries such as finance, healthcare, energy, and telecom. Headquartered in Bengaluru, India, it is a preferred partner for digital transformation initiatives. Your responsibilities will include conducting statistical analysis using R, Python, or Excel, and creating presentations/keynotes based on the findings. You will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate data availability for analytical assignments, meeting project deadlines, and communicating progress effectively to stakeholders. Additionally, you will perform exploratory data analysis, develop Excel models, conduct forecasting analysis, and maintain data integrity throughout the process. Utilizing AI/ML technologies for advanced analytics will also be a part of your role. To excel in this position, you are required to have at least 5 years of experience in Maps Operations or Production, with a minimum of 3 years in an Individual Contributor role. Proficiency in AI/ML technologies like TensorFlow, Keras, or PyTorch is essential, along with strong GIS skills using tools such as ArcGIS, QGIS, or OpenLayers. Expertise in SQL/PostgreSQL for spatial and big data analysis and the ability to apply map specifications for enhancements are crucial. Familiarity with Process Engineering and Continuous Improvement techniques will be advantageous. Being detail-oriented, having hands-on experience in data analysis tools, possessing strong communication skills, and the ability to lead analytical reviews using manual and automated checks are also critical skills required for this role.,
