The Communications team at Apple is responsible for crafting and disseminating stories about our groundbreaking products, services, and core values to the world. Our team comprises professionals with diverse backgrounds in public relations, journalism, social media, writing, and buzz marketing. We are currently seeking a Manager of Buzz Marketing to join our Corporate Communications team. In this role, you will be instrumental in driving strategic, integrated plans that position Apple's products, services, and values at the forefront of culture. Collaborating with authentic and influential individuals and organizations, you will engage new audiences, foster creative partnerships, and narrate stories that resonate deeply. Buzz Marketing at Apple entails close collaboration with various departments such as Product Marketing, PR, Marcom, Apple TV+, and Apple Music, among others. Your primary responsibilities will include developing unique, culture-focused initiatives in sectors like design, film, music, fashion, sports, and the arts. Key duties in this role involve nurturing relationships, forging external partnerships, and executing Buzz Marketing campaigns for a range of Apple products including iPhone, Mac, iPad, Mac Studio, iMac, and Apple Watch. You will identify high-potential relationships and leverage them to mutual advantage, oversee multiple projects simultaneously to ensure they align with strategic goals, adhere to timelines, budget constraints, and Apple's quality standards. Additionally, you will stay abreast of emerging cultural trends, sharing insights to infuse creativity and fresh perspectives into the Buzz organization and Geo Marketing team. **Minimum Qualifications:** - Possess 7+ years of relevant experience in a similar capacity or roles involving interactions with celebrities and influencers. - Proficiency in the English language. **Preferred Qualifications:** - Hold a BS/BA degree or equivalent experience, with a preference for individuals who have worked in celebrity/talent management in India, particularly with a background in the sports industry. - Demonstrate direct relationships with A-list Bollywood actors, directors, musicians, and other relevant talent in the Indian film industry, including Bollywood and Southern film industries. - Exhibit confidence in engaging with top-tier influencers and internal executives, along with a solid grasp of popular culture and diverse cultural touchpoints. - Showcase a strong knowledge and personal usage of Apple products and software, with a track record of building successful relationships, establishing business partnerships, and maintaining confidentiality with integrity. - Possess exceptional organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced, time-critical environment. - Comfortably manage high volumes of information, distilling actionable insights swiftly. - Display excellent communication and writing skills, a willingness to travel, and a proactive approach to innovation and collaboration.
